For reference, I applied to McMaster Bcomm, UTM Commerce, York Commerce, and Guelph Commerce. But to be fair, if Queens were closer to GTA, I probably will choose queens. Laurier BBA is solid but if you can’t get into Ivey without AEO you won’t be able to take advantage of Laurier’s semi target status anyways by gunning for those high finance/consulting spots (the 83 + 2 decent EC’s you need are like already a minimum bar to recruit for high finance/consulting jobs). TMU is way more prestigious and has a much better reputation than York. Not in either of these but by looking at the courses York appears to have a more expansive education in the technology/engineering side. Con: It has the lowest ranking of the three, and living in downtown Toronto might be more expensive (I'm also not sure of the safety aspect there). People seem to talk about Guelph cs in a more positive light compared to Tmu. Finally TMU is definitely increasing in the standings, in my last 4 years I have seen the rep of my program and school increase and by the time you graduate it might be even better. If your planning on commuting to York by car, remember that parking passes cost about 500 a semester. This means you arent into the coop program and have to apply separately once in the program which can be quite competitive. York is much more established than TMU and is in the top 20 universities in Canada. I loved living on York University's campus. York: Much bigger spread out campus. Most people who go to Windsor and TMU end up working in small and mid-sized firms. Or if the social scene is actually important to you apply to different universities and go into res. Also the community and connections you can make at TMU is better for the fields you’re interested in. Go to a school that has the best funding in engineering that would be my suggestion (which would be TMU given the options you said).
